Why we exist
Too many older adults, disabled individuals, and rural residents face quiet barriers — to employment, to trusted resources, to the everyday support that keeps a person rooted in their community. Rural communities across Minnesota and North Dakota feel these gaps especially sharply: distance, isolation, and stretched local services compound the challenge.
YourPlace was founded to close those gaps. We don't replace the work of clinical or government services — we sit alongside them as a community-rooted foundation, connecting people to what they need and helping families navigate what comes next.
